Feast Day 2024 Fundraising Dinner

As a part of St Mary of the Angels Feast Day this year, we will be organising a dinner at Dusit Thani Grand Ballroom @ Laguna National. This will be held alongside a Golf Day in the afternoon at Laguna National Golf & Country Club. All proceeds raised from this dinner will go toward helping fund the maintenance and repairs needed for our 20-year old church building.

Dinner Details

TICKET PRICE: $2,388 per table of 10, OR $238.80 per head (7-course sit-down Chinese dinner)
 
DRESS CODE: 80s Disco Fashion

Prior to the Dinner

1) Can I purchase individual dinner tickets?
Yes. Limited to 40 single seats only, on a first-come, first-served basis 

2) Is there any early bird discount? No

3) Are children allowed to attend this dinner?
Yes, children are welcome! However, every child will need a ticket (see price per head above) to attend

4) Can I bring additional guests for this dinner?
Yes, but each guest will need a ticket (see price per head above) to attend.

5) Can I book or purchase my tickets online?
No, you can only purchase the tickets IN PERSON at the booth set up at the piazza outside the main church of St Mary's on the weekends of 18/19 May and 25/26 May, or while stocks last. This applies also to single ticket purchases.

6) Can I get a replacement if I lose my ticket?
Unfortunately there will be no replacement if you lose your tickets. Please keep the tickets properly after purchasing them.

7) Can I get a refund if I am unable or decide not to attend after purchasing tickets?
No refunds will be entertained. Tickets are transferable to another person of your choice. If you are unable to find a replacement, please handover the tickets to Reception and we will gladly find a replacement for you. 

8) What modes of payment can I use to purchase the tickets?
Only payment via Credit Card, NETS or PayNow will be accepted (UEN T08CC4053H)

9) How will my table number or seat be allotted?
Your table number will be randomly selected by a representative using a draw lot method, which will then determine your table allocation upon purchase at the piazza.

10) What is the dress code for the dinner?
The dinner will be Disco-themed, so your outfits can be typical 80s disco fashion, anything sparkly, floral, bright or metallic. Or, you may wear your best bohemian style, tie dye, coloured suit or platform shoes (they’re coming back in style!). The most important part of your disco-themed outfits is so that you can dance the night away! Three (3) winners will be picked and awarded for Best-dressed competition!!

11) What if I have special accessibility needs or dietary requirements/restrictions?
We can accommodate these requirements, please contact the organisers ahead of time (by 26 June).

Pre-Order of Wine

  • Bottled Wine (@ $89 per bottle) can be purchased at the Feast Day booth on 18/19 May and 25/26 May at the piazza. There will be NO sale of wine during the dinner itself.

  • Beer & Cocktails can be purchased on-site at the hotel (charged to your personal account).

Accommodation

You can consider the accommodation options at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore at a preferred rate, negotiated for before or after the Feast Day Golf & Dinner events. All room rates and personal incidentals will be charged to your personal account.

Important Notes:
i.    Rates available for up to 3 days pre & post-date from actual event date (Please confirm as soon as possible so we can block the necessary rooms)
ii.    Extra bed at an additional fee of S$90++ per room per night (maximum of 1 extra bed in each room allowed)
iii.    Additional breakfast at an additional fee of S$30++ per adult / S$15++ per child

2) PARKING
There are limited complimentary parking lots at Dusit Thani Laguna, Singapore, available first come, first served.

3) SHUTTLE BUS TRANSPORT
We will be organising 2-way transportation from St Mary's to Dusit Thani Laguna. 
a. Shuttle buses will leave the pick-up point outside Gubbio (Level 1 open space car park) at 5.30pm sharp.
b. Shuttle buses will leave Dusit Thani Laguna at 11pm sharp. Pick-up point is the same as drop-off location upon arrival. Transport will end at St Mary’s Gubbio open space car park. 

4) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
This is a strictly ticketed event - Each guest must have a valid ticket to gain admission. Guests without tickets will not be allowed into the ballroom, so please do not forget to bring your tickets along!

5) TABLE ALLOCATION
To determine which dinner table you are allocated, look for the table number that has been allocated to your ticket number. Single seaters will be allocated to designated tables. 

6) PRE-ORDER OF WINE
If you have pre-ordered wine, please present your wine coupons at the Reception table in front of the ballroom to redeem your bottled wine. 

7) LUCKY DRAW
Hold on to your tickets as they will give you a chance to win in the lucky draw throughout the night. Kindly pay attention to announcements as they announce the draw numbers which are reflected on your tickets. Winning tickets must be presented upon prize collection. Who knows, luck may be on your side!
