Feast Day Triduum
Thursday, 29 July - Saturday, 31 July 2021
St Mary of the Angels will be celebrating our Feast Day on 1st August and we invite you to participate in our Triduum to prepare ourselves in this celebration of God’s extravagant love and mercy poured out to us through the Porziuncola Indulgence, which St. Francis obtained from God through the intercession of the Virgin Mary.

Day 1 - PRAY
Thursday 29 July
Zoom Meet at 8PM
Join us, as we pray the Franciscan Crown Rosary together as a parish, meditating on the Seven Joys of Our Lady and praying for the needs of the parish and community in the run-up to our Feast Day on 1 August. Come, say Hi to our friars and other parishioners as well!

Day 2 - REFLECT
Friday 30 July
Video Premiere at 9AM
We reflect on the name of our church, named after a little chapel in Assisi, in which several significant events and encounters took place for St Francis, and what it means for us, as parishioners.
We will also pray to receive the Porziuncola Indulgence through Reconciliation, Spiritual Communion (Adoration & Benediction) and Praying for the Intentions of the Pope as a community.

Day 3 - CONSECRATE
Saturday 31 Jul

Today, we crown and honour Our Lady, Queen of the Angels, as we consecrate to her all our efforts and prayers, as a parish, to reach out to the community and those around us.

FEAST DAY MASS
Saturday 31 Jul, 6PM
Join us as we celebrate the Feast Day of St Mary of the Angels through our online mass celebrated in our church at St Mary of the Angels.
We pray for the parish that we may continue to grow in faith, love and compassion as we live our vocation as true missionary disciples.

Celebrating our Feast Day in Song!
Our music ministry and the Franciscan Friars have teamed up to bring a little something special to our Feast Day offering. First it was the Nuns, and now the Friars! Our rendition brings back a little bit of nostalgia and a whole lot of contagious singing and fun!
